Dina Jin Bae

Lives and works in London. MA Painting, Royal College of Art (2024). Before art school Bae developed cosmetics professionally in Seoul, mixing colour and formulating products.

Her paintings are made from that material: eyeshadow, lipstick, powder, sheet masks and latex sponges, bound with oil, pigment and wax on board, linen and canvas.

Three works in (mean)while made from cosmetics and sheet masks: two paintings bound with oil and wax, and a new wall work in sheet masks and resin, to be completed in October 2026.
